High Five Escalator

Saturday, March 7, 2009

OMG! I totally love this! Wonder if we can do it in Malaysia? You can find more cool stuff on Katie's website. For her latest Improv Everywhere mission, her friend Rob gave out over 2,000 high fives by standing next to a subway escalator during the morning rush.

Five additional people spread out along the adjacent stairs, holding signs to prepare commuters for high five fun!

It's nice to see all the happy faces so early in the morning. They should do this more often.

Made in the Netherlands by Oooms it's professionally handmade from real wood into unique and personal USB memory sticks. By using twigs, every USB stick becomes unique in its design. Designed by nature!

DIY : Corner Bookmark

Here's a creative idea from d.Sharp Journal. Re-use old envelopes by cutting the corners to serve as disposable, notable, bookmarks. I love the idea that we can customize the bookmark with notes. Isn't it cute? I'd write 'You fell asleep here' too!

Vine Cell Phone Charger

I totally love this idea!

I hate seeing my chords all rumpled up or seeing it dangling from my desk. It totally makes my already messed up corner look messier. So why not make those cords look pretty? That was the idea behind Vine (2008), the latest work by Microworks, the quirky design firm of up and coming designer Shunsuke Umiyama.

Neat ei? At least it'll look nice dangling from my desk. Hopefully it will become available soon.
